The job

A client portal that stops the status phone calls

Most status calls exist because the customer has no other way to find out what is happening, so the cost of not having a portal is measured in interruptions rather than in software. WallFlow gives each client a private link showing where their job stands, the documents they have signed, what has been paid and what is still owed, and photos from the work itself, without the client needing an account or a password.

The problem

A customer with no visibility calls to ask, and they call the owner, usually mid-job. Multiply that by every active job and a working day disappears into answering questions that a screen could have answered.

How it works

Each job gets a private tokenised link. The client opens it and sees the stage the work is at, the documents they signed, the payment position and the photos from site. Nothing sensitive is exposed because the portal renders only the client-facing view, and files sit behind short-lived signed links rather than public URLs.

What you get

  • A private link per client, with no account or password to create
  • Job progress shown as the stages of the actual pipeline
  • Signed documents available to the client who signed them
  • Payment position: what is paid, what is still owed
  • Before, during and after photos from the job
  • Files served behind short-lived signed links, not public URLs
  • Internal notes stay internal: the client view is a separate surface

What your client sees, what you get

Your client sees

Checks the job at 9pm instead of phoning at 9am.

You get

Loses fewer working hours to interruptions that a page could answer.

Your client sees

Can find the document they signed without asking for it again.

You get

Stops re-sending paperwork out of the sent folder.

What it costs

Every customer starts with The WallFlow Launch at $997 one time, $497 for the first 10 contractors. The first real quote is sent to a real client during the setup call, or the Launch is free. The first month of the subscription is included in the Launch. After that it is $99 a month on the Solo plan. WallFlow does not offer a free trial. WallFlow does not offer a free tier. Every customer starts by paying for the Launch. What a custom build costs breaks the numbers down further.

Questions

Does the client need to create an account?

No. The portal is a private tokenised link. Requiring a signup to look at your own job is friction that guarantees the client phones instead.

Can a client see internal notes or margins?

No. The client-facing view is a separate surface from the team's, and which documents are client-facing is an explicit property rather than an assumption. Keeping those two apart is treated as a correctness problem, with a test enforcing it, because crossing them once is enough.

How are job photos protected?

Photos and documents are served through short-lived signed links rather than public URLs, so a link that leaks stops working rather than remaining open indefinitely.

If none of this fits your process

The same core gets rebuilt around a business’s own objects when an off-the-shelf shape does not fit. That is a separate piece of work with its own scope and its own price.
